The red mizuna is of Japanese origin and is part of the brassicaceae family, it has small, round, brown seeds. There are two varieties, one green and one red.

With their aromatic and spicy taste, red mizuna sprouts are excellent for accompanying fresh salads to be consumed especially during the summer period, they can also be added to the preparation of various dishes, such as boiled potatoes or as a bed of vegetables on which to rest a veal stew or other types of meat. Also ideal to be eaten fried in the form of croquettes or omelettes.
SUGGESTIONS
Thanks to its intense and bitter flavour, it pairs perfectly with various meat and fish-based dishes, especially in the latter case with scampi and salmon. It can also accompany dishes with eggs and fresh, creamy cheeses.
